Our story begins in July of 1984, when Joey and Gail Chessor completed construction of a hand-built log cabin in Centerville, Tennessee. Crafted with care using logs harvested directly from the property, this rustic cabin was more than just a structure—it was the family’s home, built with love and intention.

Years later, that same sweet little cabin would become the heart and home of Grinder’s Switch Winery. Transformed into a cozy tasting room, it now welcomes visitors from near and far with the same warmth and charm it always had.

As you step inside, you can feel the history in every log—a quiet reminder of where it all began.
